RawVamp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information across our web platform and our official Browser Extension.

For the purposes of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR, the Data Controller is RawVamp.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our Service:

  • Personal Information: We collect your email address for account management and login.
  • Payment Information: All payment data is processed securely by Stripe or NOWPayments. We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Technical Data: IP address and browser type may be collected automatically by Cloudflare for security and fraud prevention.

3. Browser Extension Permissions & Data

If you use the RawVamp Browser Extension, it requires specific permissions to function. We declare strict adherence to the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. The Extension uses the following APIs and permissions locally:

  • Host Permissions (<all_urls>): This broad permission is a strict technical requirement for Manifest V3. It allows our Context Menu to capture image URLs across any website you visit, and enables the Side Panel to capture the visible viewport for glitch editing. We do not use this permission to inject scripts into external sites or monitor your browsing activity.
  • Identity: Used strictly to securely authenticate your account (via Google/Discord OAuth) through Chrome's native auth flow without exposing your credentials.
  • Context Menus: Allows you to right-click images on the web and send their URLs directly to the local RawVamp editor.
  • Side Panel & Storage: Used to render our editor alongside your active browsing session and to save temporary session states or image URLs locally on your device.

4. What We Do NOT Collect (Zero-Knowledge)

We respect the privacy of your creative work and your browsing habits:

  • No Image Uploads: The photos you edit in RawVamp (both on the web and via the Extension) are processed locally in your browser using Client-Side Rendering. We do not upload, store, or view your original images or edits on our servers.
  • No Browsing Tracking: The RawVamp Extension does not monitor, record, or track your web browsing history.
  • No DOM/Page Scraping: Despite requiring global host permissions for image capturing, our content scripts are strictly locked to our own domain (*.rawvamp.com). We do not read your emails, passwords, or personal page data on other websites.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your data strictly for the following purposes:

  • To process your orders and manage your account.
  • To provide customer support and verify your VIP/Platinum status.
  • To detect and prevent fraud.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers required to operate our business:

  • Stripe: For our primary direct payment processing. You can read their Privacy Policy.
  • Paddle: For alternative order processing, acting as our Merchant of Record. You can read their Privacy Policy.
  • NOWPayments: For cryptocurrency payments. You can read their Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare: For website security and content delivery.
  • No AI Training: We explicitly prohibit third parties from scraping our data to train Artificial Intelligence models.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption (HTTPS), to protect your data during transmission.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten"), subject to our legal obligation to retain financial records.
